CENTRAL CITY – Danny Mayhugh, 76, of Central City, died Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at 6:28AM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mr. Mayhugh was born March 29, 1941, in Muhlenberg County. He was a truck driver at TVA and a teamster, and a member of Cleaton Baptist Church. He loved to refinish old cars, doing carpentry work, and working on cars. He loved to drink coffee with friends at the Dairy Queen, and attend church. He also loved his family, and enjoyed talking about their hobbies which included cars, tractors, and trucks. He was preceded in death by his father, Callie Mayhugh; mother Myrtle Mayhugh; and brothers James Calvin “JC” Mayhugh and Billy F. Mayhugh. He is survived by his son, Daniel Brad (Becky) Mayhugh of Central City; grandson Jacob Mayhugh; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, October 10, 2017, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Brian Jones officiating. Burial in Nelson Creek Cemetery.
