Pana, IL- Dannie Lee Jernigan, 67, of Pana,IL died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 4:42pm at his residence. Born September 20, 1944 in Muhlenberg County he was of the Baptist Faith and was a truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Casteel Jernigan; son, Jimmy Jernigan of California; two daughters, Tina (Tony) Olivio Jernigan, Tammy Barrett Jernigan; three grandchildren, Toni Olivio, Christina Olivio, Michael Roy Brian Barrett; two great grandchildren, Myles Hurlburt, Devin Hurlburt all of Pana,IL; brother, William (Bertha) Jernigan of Central City; sister, Anna Garrett of Drakesboro; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Floyd Steele officiating. Burial will follow in Allen’s Chapel cemetery. So sorry to hear of Danny's passing. Prayers are with the family in this difficult time. Hadn't heard from Danny in a while. You all may not know who I am, but I am the daughter of Rev. Otis Allen, Aunt Grace's brother. In the cousins, Danny and I were close in age. Please tell William and Anna that we are thinking of them also.
