Curtis Harold Vincent 1/14/2009 CENTRAL CITY — Curtis Harold Vincent, 92, of 1850 Kentucky 70 West, Central City, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at his home. He was born June 9, 1916, in Muhlenberg County. He retired from Illinois Railroad in 1977 after 35 years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Central City. He was a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Vincent; his mother, Jennie Ellen Vincent; two brothers, Gerald Vincent and Clayton Vincent; and three sisters, Maxine Stanley, Wanda Atcher and Martha Vincent. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Geneva (Tookie) Vincent of Central City; three sons, David (Janice) Vincent, Kenny (Janice) Vincent and Richard (Windy) Vincent, all of Central City; two daughters, Jeanie (Terry) Arnold and Jeanette (Steve) Conrad, all of Central City; eight grandchildren, Michelle (Gerald) Snodgrass, Kendra (Chris) Dukes, Amy (Greg) Petrie, Aaron (Ashley) Arnold, Chandra Smith, Tim Vincent, Terra Arnold and Kayson Vincent; and four great-grandchildren, Clayton and Weston Snodgrass and Nathan and Katelyn Petrie. Services are at 1 p.m. Friday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Bob Lowery officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
