MADISONVILLE – Clarice Ann Jones, 81, of Madisonville, died Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 1:24PM at her residence.  Mrs. Jones was born September 19, 1943, in Beaver Dam.  She was an entrepreneur and a member of Grace Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyce “Bud” Jones.

She is survived by her two sons and their families, Larry and Theresa Jones and Dr. Michael and Dr. Jayna Jones, all of Madisonville; her two granddaughters and their husbands, Megan and Graham Moore of Hanson and Kenzie and Joshua Edmonson of Owensboro; two grandsons, Joshua Jones of Louisville and Caleb Jones of Fairbanks, Alaska; her great-granddaughter, Lindy Clyce Edmonson; her golden retriever fur baby, Cleo; niece, Kim Jones of Chicago, Illinois; and two sisters, Elizabeth Embry of Owensboro and Sue Murphy of Prattville, Alabama.

She wanted to specifically thank her lifelong best friend Jeanie Isbell and caretaker Ethel Todd for helping her these last few months and the wonderful staff at the Mahr Center for their compassion and care.  She loved her family and friends more than words could ever express and was thankful for a wonderful and blessed 81 years.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 12:00 noon at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Lawrence Richardson officiating.  Burial in Memorial Gardens in Powderly.  Visitation will be Saturday after 9:00AM at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
