CENTRAL CITY – Clarence Martin Lewis, 98, of Central City, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at NHC Healthcare of Madisonville. His wife of 73 years, Dorothy Lewis, was at his side. Mr. Lewis was born August 15, 1913. He grew up in the Nelson Creek area of Muhlenberg County and graduated from Central City High School. He worked as a mechanic and electrician at the Island Creek Coal Company Crescent Mine for 32 years.
