Christine Copley GREENVILLE — Christine Copley, 86, of 1877 Kentucky 600, Greenville, died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, at her home. She was born Feb. 26, 1923, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Holiness Faith Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Gail France; and a grandson, Darrin Bryant. Survivors include a son, Kenneth (Evaline) Copley of Greenville; three daughters, Brenda (Doug) Capps of Bremen, Alice (the late Jay) Durall of Greenville and Nadine (James) Bryant of Crofton; grandchildren Samantha, Curtis, Ashley, Chris, Kevin, Little Jay, Carl, Daniel, Martha, Rita, Jenny and Troy; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Loretta Childress of Graham and Carolyn (George) Stanley of Greenville; and five brothers, Jimmy (Brenda) Rolley of Central City, Ronnie Rolley of Louisville, Eugene (Ellon) Rolley of Graham, Lloyd Rolley of Depoy and Kenneth (Mary Lou) Rolley of Graham. Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Greg Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Bremen. She took me in back in 1980 i was pregnet and had no were to go her and mrs.kate jackson ,kitty washburn helped me with a place to live til the baby was born and i found a home .Christine would sit up and talk with me for hours on end comforting me day in and day out for mouths i'll never 4 get how she'd fix me something to eat no matter how late it was she'd worry about every body too .sorry she has left us . but god must of needed another angel !
