I know this is late but may GOD give the family peace and comfort. I knew Cheyenne when I was on the wrong side of the law. He always treated me with dignity and respect. Rest in peace.

Cheyenne was a wonderful mentor to our two children, Angela and Jason Thomas Hill. He worked with them in the school and also with the Shooting Sports program. He was always friendly, smiling and helpful. He was a great asset to the youth of Muhlenberg County. He was a big man with a big heart.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Cheyenne had a lot of friends. He never met a stranger and even when he had to arrest someone he did it with compassion and understanding. He enjoyed this life to the fullest and he is enjoying his new life today. He touched many, many people throughout the years and we will miss him. May God comfort you during this difficult time and fill your heads and hearts of great memories of a wonderful person.

Working for Congressman Whitfield I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with this great man for several years. Cheyenne shared with me his commitment to stop the meth. He spoke often about his concern and passion to help the children in these meth homes. He loved his job and he respected and cared for the people he worked with. He was a gentle giant. I am sadden to learn of his death. I am sadden to know i will not be able to hear my friends gentle voice again. I will miss him greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and with all his friends.
Sheriff Bobby Hopper from Fulton County left a message on June 26, 2010:
I considered Cheyenne a very good friend. At the sheriff's association training he told everyone he had adopted me as his daddy. I wish I could come to central city but health issues are keeping me away at this time. I am extremely sorry for the loss of Cheyenne .
