BREMEN – Chester Norman Timmons, 76, of Bremen, died Friday, March 23, 2018, at 7:10AM at his home. Mr. Timmons was born August 19, 1941, in Muhenberg County, to Leslie and Annie W. Timmons. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1959 through 1963. He was married to Barbara J. Timmons on August 13, 1964. He was retired from Charles Chips and farming, and he was also a taxidermist for several years. He loved fishing, hunting, and gardening, and his main passion was coon hunting. He dearly loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Barbara J. Timmons in August 2016; his parents; seven brothers; two sisters; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He is survived by his daughter, Norma J. Jones of Bremen; son Jimmie Timmons of Bremen; grandson Casey (Sarah) Jones of Bremen; granddaughters Rachel (Mark) Sutton of Owensboro and Kayla Todd of Madisonville; great-grandchildren Shayla Jones, Cole Jones, Heaven Todd, Olivia Todd, and Olive Sutton; sisters Louise Vanover and Barbara Newman, both of Bremen; and brother Ray Timmons of Bremen. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 25, 2018, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Steve McElvain officiating, assisted by Rev. Danny Greene. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery.
