He was born August 3, 1942 in Idaho and was a foreman with the National Forest Service. Survivors include a brother, Johnny Smith and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. So sorry to find this notice of Chuck's passing. Even though we hadn't been in touch for years, I knew him in college and remember him fondly. He was a warm, wonderful person, always up for adventure, and I count myself fortunate to have known him. My deepest sympathy, condolences and blessings to all his family and loved ones.

How well I remember all our fun at Paradise growing up Chuck was a fine young man, was loved by everyone in Paradise.So sorry for this tragedy my deepest sympathy goes to all the family.May God comfort and bless all.
