Charles Eugene Thompson Charles Eugene Thompson, 71, of Beech Creek died at 5:05 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2009, at his home. He was born July 25, 1937, in Muhlenberg County. He was a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Thompson; his parents, Rena and Estil Thompson; and a brother, Estil Ray Thompson. Survivors include a son, Michael Thompson; seven daughters, Pauline Hagy, Patricia Minor, Marsha Lewis, Brenda Dickerson, Sherry Long, Teresa Minor and Phyllis Harris; grandchildren Joey, Chris, Danielle, Bradley, Mason, Michelle, Hunter, Cathy, Chris, Josh, Jeremy, Steven, Scotty, Douglas, Jessica, Brian, Jeremy and Bridget; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorris Sue Garrett; a brother, Terry Thompson; a very special person, Ms. Jeonett Boggess; his fishing buddies and friends, Gene Hamby, Gray Brandt, Andy and Bill Campbell, Deny Scott and Joe Chambers. Services are at noon Monday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Mike DeArmond officiating. Burial will be in Colemans Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation is after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
