Dunmor – Charles Keith Ryan, 64, of Dunmor, transitioned into his final journey on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 6:45PM at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Mr. Ryan was born May 13, 1954, in Evansville, IN. He managed Jeff’s Bass Pro Shop in Evansville, and he wrapped many custom fishing rods during that time. He worked as a boilermaker. He had over 30 years of service as a Boat Service Technician, working at Anchor High Marina (Hendersonville, TN) for Irby Mandrell, Splash Marine in Owensboro, and going on to open his business, Rocky Creek Marine. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran and a Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and target practice with bow and arrow and guns. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles William Ryan; mother-in-law Ethel Brooks; brother-in-law Doug Brooks; step-father Jim Lee; and son-in-law Trent Christie. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Inett Brooks Ryan; daughter Jenette Necole Ryan of Dunmor; son-in-law Nick Smalley of Dayton, Ohio; son Charles Keith (Bethany) Ryan II of Powderly; grandchildren Logan Christie, Jonathan Christie, Westen Smalley, and Atlas Ryan; sister Theresa (Michael) Buchanan of Whitehouse, TN; mother Retha Mae Lee of Greenbrier, TN; brother Bill Ryan of Greenbrier, TN; father-in-law Vinyard Brooks of Powderly; nieces Lacey and Amber; and nephew Levon. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 4:00PM at Dunmor Baptist Church, with Bro. Jeremy Whitney officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-4PM at the church.
