CENTRAL CITY – Charles Edward Harris, 92, of Central City, died Saturday, December 24, 2016, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Harris was born September 13, 1924, in Muhlenberg County. He was a coal miner. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jessie Harris; brothers Floyd, Nuel, and Billy; and granddaughter Jennifer Noffsinger. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Ball Harris; daughters Diana Harison and Vickie (Donnie) Noffsinger, both of Central City; grandchildren Troy (Connie) Hardison, Shane (Mindy) Hardison, Jessica (Blaine) Hampton, and Joshua (Desiree) Noffsinger; and great-grandchildren Ty Hardison, Alli Hardison, Kyle Hardison, Ean Hardison, Maisie Hardison, Kareena Hampton, Brody Noffsinger, and Olivia Noffsinger. Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at 2:00PM at Rose Hill Cemetery, with Bro. Matt McIntosh officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday after 10:30AM at the funeral home.
