BEECHMONT – Charles Edward Fowler, 75, of Beechmont, passed away peacefully Monday, December 26, 2016, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Fowler was born March 5, 1941 in Corning, Arkansas. He was a retired auto mechanic and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a beloved husband and kind father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Abraham Fowler and Emma Jean Byrd and by his step-mother, Virginia “Ginny” Fowler. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Mae Fowler, of the home; daughters Pam (Chuck) Widener of Rolla, MO and Gwen (Don) Borntrager of Farmington, AR; a son, Curt (Linda) Fowler, of Fenton, MO; grandchildren Mike Widener, Katie (Bob) Castle, Jonathan (Danna) Borntrager, Christopher Borntrager, Benjamin Fowler, Emily Borntrager, Matthew Fowler, Molly Fowler, and Rebecca Borntrager; and great-grandchildren Asher Castle, Gad Castle, Eli Widener, Selah Castle, and Simon Borntrager; sisters Linda Thompson and Delores Smith both of Arkansas and brothers Donnie Fowler of Missouri and Robert Fowler of Arizona. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many other friends and extended family, including step-brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be Friday, December 30, 2016, at 11:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Casebier officiating. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery.
