ISLAND – Catherine Bibb, 89, of Island, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 5:20PM at Owensboro Medical Health System. Mrs. Bibb was born November 6, 1921 in Sacramento, KY. She was a laborer with General Electric and a member of Station Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Earl Porter Bibb, and her parents, Guy and Juanita Hoagland. Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Clifton Porter Bibb; daughters Mary Joyce (Ronald) Patterson of Loveland, OH and Lila Carolyn Fowler of West Chester, OH; grandchildren Beckie Walker, Byron Frasier, William Michael Patterson, Cale Bibb, and Paul Bibb; several great-grandsons; a brother, Emory Hoagland of Sacramento; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 12:00noon at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with Rev. Clifford Lovell officiating. Burail in Station Baptist Cemetery.
