CENTRAL CITY – Caroll Lee “Buddy” Burch, 85, of Central City died Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 9:10PM at his residence. Mr. Burch was born April 15, 1939 in Muhlenberg County. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, graduated from Drakesboro High School in 1956, worked as an Electrician/Coal Miner for IBEW Local 1925 and UMWA, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He enjoyed gardening, rock collecting, going to the gym, playing with all his grandchildren, riding his motorcycle, and watching KY Basketball. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Maddox; father, Rufus Burch; son, Jamey Burch; sister, Betty Nedham; and brother, Wayne Burch.

He is survived by his wife, Laquita Sue Rager Burch; children, Rodney (Susan) Burch, Jason (Stacia) Burch; brother, Richard Burch; sister, Deena Cook; grandchildren, Matthew Burch, Andrew Burch, Robert Burch, Zachary Burch, Hannah Burch, and Jacey Burch; great-grandchildren, Carson Burch, Rylen Burch, Aiden Burch, Mya Burch, Greyson McDowell, and Jhett Burch; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 2, 2024 at 12PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating, assisted by Bro. Scott Casebier. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
