I look back on Larkins life and can see him coming in to the beauty shop to get a haircut or maybe just visit and see a man of only good things to say of someone. So soft spoken and kind. I am so sorry to hear that he passed away but Heaven haD AWAITED HIS ARRIVAL FOR A LONG TIME AND i KNOW IT WASD A GREAT HOMECOMING FOR HE AND HIS FAMILY THAT HAVE GONE ON BEFORE HIM. God Bless each and every one of his family

As a small child I remember one of the best times of Christmas was Going to Grandpa and Grandma Brewers home and seeing the banana stalk hanging from the ceiling. Uncle Larkins would bye a big stalk every year for Christmas. I love Uncle Larkins and this endured him even more to me. Even as a child I just loved bananas. So many good memories. I loved to watch my Dad and His brothers and Uncle Larkins and Uncle Earl Brewer work together. They were so strong and good workers. I remember many happy times and fun times as a child just being close to them. In my heart I see the three of them together walking with Jesus in Heaven. A better place. I love the comfort Jesus gives us in John 14:1-6. We are all blessed by the wonderful way Jay and Susie Lynch; Judith Embery, and others ministered and cared for Uncle Larkins in his final days on this earth. Jesus teaches us when we do good to others we do it unto Him. THANK YOU! May God bless you all! HUGS!

I only ever got to see Great Uncle Larkins on our annual visits to my Grandmother (Laura) Brewer's house, but I always enjoyed those brief visits with him. He was a quiet fellow, but had such a sweet heart. I think my most vivid memories will always be of him arriving at Grandma's - wearing his pith helmet and holding a big bowl of fresh greens to share. I know it may sound silly, but it is a fond memory that I will always hold dear. Those of us in the family who live so far away will be forever grateful for all the time and effort our dear family and friends have shared with Uncle Larkins in his final days. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
