Carolyn “Diane” Dearing, 81, of Owensboro, died Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Ms. Dearing was born on April 18, 1943, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Apollo Heights Baptist Church, and loved sewing, crafting, shopping, and worked at Home Instead Senior Care. Ms. Dearing is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Margaret Revlett.

Ms. Dearing is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Ken) Rice; her son, Glen (Tara) Dearing; her grandchildren, Dacqurie (Dusty) Smeathers, Damian (Annie) Rice, DaKendra Rice, Brandon (Bailey) Livings, and Jared Dearing; her sister, Delores Wilson; her brother, Donald (Jeanie) Revlett; a niece, Heather (Marty) Taylor; and five great-grandchildren.

Services for Ms. Dearing will be Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Jerry Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be Wednesday at 10:00AM at the funeral home.
