SACRAMENTO – Carolyn Ann Whitmer, 73, of Madisonville, died Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 10:20AM at Hillside Villa Care and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville.  Mrs. Whitmer was born January 16, 1950, in McLean County.  She worked in food service for Trover Foundation, and also worked at Western Kentucky Veterans Center.  She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.  Mrs. Whitmer was a graduate of Bremen High School.  She enjoyed attending church, spending time with family, watching Hallmark movies, and traveling with family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Roy Whitmer and Ava June Albin Whitmer; and her granddaughter, Hannah Rebecca Whitmer.

She is survived by her son, Chris (Rebecca) Whitmer; daughter, Beverly (Darrin) Green; grandchildren, Kaneka Green, Collin Green, Carlie Green, Luke Whitmer, Rachel Whitmer, Andrew Whitmer, and Kadence Green; great-grandson, Hayden Hobgood; sister, Gail (Mike) Dame; brothers, Carl Michael Whitmer, Carroll David Whitmer, Robert Whitmer, and Clifton (Kim) Whitmer; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 8, 2023, at 1:00PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with Pastor Chris Whitmer officiating.  Burial in Brier Creek Cemetery in Bremen.  Visitation will be Friday after 11:00AM at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
