I am so sorry for your loss. Occasionally I read the obituaries in Muhlenberg County to see if there is anyone I know--I've been gone from there a long time. This name sounds familiar and I believe that we are cousins--several times removed. My Mother, Opal Hughes Wood, daughter of Herscal Hughes, had a cousin named Clyde Arnold. He was the son of Minnie Hughes and Carley Arnold. My Grandfather Herscal and "Aunt" Minnie were brother and sister. I barely remember her but I recall my Mother and my "Pappy" talking about her and her family. I thought perhaps Carl was her grandson. If I have rambled on about the wrong family, please excuse me. Though I did not personally know Mr. Arnold, I want to take a moment to express my deepest sympathy to the family. No doubt the loss of such a dear loved one will be felt by many. Long ago the faithful man job asked if an able-bodied man died could he live again. The comforting answer is yes. Our God the Creator yearns to bring back to life those who have died. (Job 14:13-15) May this and other promises recorded in God's Word the Bible continue to carry your family in this critical time.

Have many memories of your Dad. Down at the pool hall and at the store. He was a good man1i know he loved his girls! You were gonna pass his inspection before you dated one of them. Loved to ride his horses also. Made money by cleaning the stalls for him. Girls I am so sorry for your loss. I know at this time no words can take your grief and sorrow away! Remember the good times you all had with your Dad. Sorry not able to come and show my respect for a GOOD MAN. You all are in my prayers, God bless and be with all.
