DRAKESBORO – Brian Robert Atwood, 72, of Drakesboro, died Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 11:41PM at his home. Mr. Atwood was born December 16, 1944, in Salisbury, England. He was a plumber and pipe fitter for Local 630 in Florida, and a member of Cleaton Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Matheny Atwood; daughters Melinda Flowers and Kelly Pearce; three grandchildren; and sisters Marlern Izey and Susie Rice. Memorial services will be Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 3:00PM at Cleaton Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Brian Jones officiating. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
