GREENVILLE – Brenda Rolley Pethtel, 80, of Greenville died at 2:22PM on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Maple Health and Rehab. in Greenville. Ms. Pethtel was born December 14, 1943 in Muhlenberg County. She was a Homemaker and a member of Bryan Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, and baking – she was county-wide famous for her baked goods around the Holidays, especially her coconut cake. She had a servant’s heart, with faith being her foundation. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James K. Rolley; daughter, Anna Vincent; parents, Frank and Nerve Greene; and 16 siblings.

She is survived by her husband, Duane Pethtel; children, Donna Brown, and John (Sherrie) Brown; grandchildren, Jennifer Wright, Jordan Vincent, Taylor Ladd, Stacie Browning, Tiara Batschelet, Ashton Travis, and Austin Brown; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, David “Bugle” Greene.

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Kerry Vincent officiating. Burial in Lee Cemetery.
