CENTRAL CITY – Brenda Carol Dukes, 85, of Central City, died Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 4:16AM at her residence.  Mrs. Dukes was born January 25, 1941, in Ebenezer, KY.  She worked at Cornucopia 2 Health Foods, and was a member of Forest Oak Baptist Church.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, reading, gardening, and teaching the adult women’s Sunday school class.  She also had an interest in alternative herbal medicine.  She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon E. Jenkins; mother, Ruby Jenkins; spouse, William M. Dukes, Sr.; son, William M. Dukes, Jr.; granddaughter, Ashlee Hall; brother, Larry Jenkins; and sister, Judy Rager.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Jameson and Tina Harris; grandchildren, Heath (April) Ashby, Danielle Ashby, Dustin (Magan) Dukes, Melissa (Lucas) Leach, and Nicholaus Blankenship; and great-grandchildren, Colton Ashby, Hayden Ashby, Claire Ashby, Parker Dukes, Cameron Dukes, Jansen Dukes, Kaylee Hall, Riley Hall, Reagan Hall, Lila Jean Blankenship, and Jayden Hall.

Funeral services will be Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 2:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Casebier officiating.  Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday after 12:00PM at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
