CENTRAL CITY – The hero is the man who lets no obstacle prevent him from pursuing the values he has chosen. Lt. Bobby Armour was always in the relentless pursuit of hard work and love for his family and mankind.
On Saturday, April 27, 2024, Lieutenant Bobby Armour, 72, of Central City, KY entered the gates of his heavenly home. Bobby had a love for life and helping those in need. Bobby was an HVAC tech by trade, but there was no job that he could not do. Bobby worked hard, every minute of the day right until the end. He was a source of strength to his family and friends even in their darkest hours.
Bobby was born February 15, 1952. He loved his time working with his brothers at Central City Fire Department. Bobby spent his free time working with his brother, Danny, on odd jobs or keeping his yard in tiptop shape. Bobby was so proud of his grandchildren and loved cooking for them. Bobby was the biggest jokester and loved teasing and pranking his family and friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Dorothy Armour; brothers, Donnie Armour, and Jimmie Armour.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debbie Armour; his daughters, Amy (Aaron) Patrick, and Jodi (David) Roberts; grandsons, Hunter (Hailey) Patrick, Aiden (Bryn) Roberts, and Noah (Taylor) Patrick; granddaughter, Lilyanna Roberts; sisters, Barbara Baugh, and Sue Todd; brothers, Earl (Penny) Armour, and Danny (Lisa) Armour; and many nieces and nephews.
