Bremen- Bobby “Beany” Timmons, 73, of Bremen died Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 8:44am at his residence. Born July 17, 1938 in Muhlenberg County to the late Leslie B. and Annie M. Whitmer-Timmons. He was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from KU maintanience in 1998 after 27 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, spoiling his grandchildren and great grandchildren, camping, hunting, and fishing. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Opal Markwell-Timmons; daughters, Tonya (Mike) Robinson, Sonya (Ernie) Dunbar; sons, Kevin Timmons and Troy Timmons, all of Bremen; grandchildren, Tabitha Lyons (Trevor Lafoy), Josh (Holly) Robinson, Nick Lyons, Lauren Robinson (Joseph Stratton), Brandi Timmons, Shanda Capps, Kristen Timmons, and Kamryn Timmons; great grandchildren, Bella Percy, Milo Robinson, and Clay Percy; brothers, Ray (Charlotte) Timmons, and Chester (Barbara) Timmons; sisters, Sarah Vanover and Barbara Newman; sister in law, Pearl Timmons; brother in law, Kenneth Baggett; several nieces, nephews, and close friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 11:00am at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Leroy Rearden officiating and Rev. Danny Greene assisting.
