CENTRAL CITY- Billy G. Jarvis, 84, of Central City went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on October 11, 1942 to Cecil and Alline Jarvis. Billy has been a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Central City for over 64 years. Billy was a quiet man but was always ready to talk about the sports that he loved, UK basketball and football and his Los Angeles Dodgers.

Billy was also an avid golfer, where he played many rounds with his friends Bobby Lile and D.C. English. He was well known around Muhlenberg Co as an insurance salesman, where he earned many awards for being the top salesman for his company. Billy was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Alline Jarvis, brother Jimmie Jarvis, and sister-in-law Shirley Jarvis.

Billy is survived by his wife of 12 years Marilyn Gaye Jarvis, a son Mark (Becky) Jarvis, a daughter Cyndi Oldham, a stepson Jason (Tiffany) Lindsey, and a sister Sheila (Ron) Brownlee. Billy had 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Services will be held Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Scott Casebier officiating and Bro. Lee Davis assisting. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Masonic services will begin at 6:00 PM on Saturday.
