Billy Warren Day Sr. BELTON — Billy Warren Day Sr., 72, of Belton died at 5:35 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at his home. He was born Feb. 12, 1938, in Muhlenberg County. He was a union laborer, a farmer and worked for TVA. He was a member of Mud River Union General Baptist Church and an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Alcorn Day of Belton; a son, Billy Warren Jr. (Linda) Day of Belton; two daughters, Anita Gale (Arnold) Evans and Anna Jane (Steve) Lear, all of Belton; grandchildren Steven Eugene (Rachel) Evans, Joshua Warren (Loretha) Evans, Anthony Gayle (Heather) Evans, Emily Carol (Andy) Wester, Scott Keith Lear, Albert Loran Day and Amanda Leann Lear; a great-granddaughter, Lacey Elizabeth Winn; and brothers and sisters Eaner Day of Belton, Margaret Ann Walker, Marion Ray (Betty Sue) Day of Belton, Barbra Sue Kinslow of Owensboro, Velma Ruth (Darrell) Stallings of McMinville, Tenn., Roy Marshal (Gloria) Day of Belton and Jerry Lee (Hannah) Day of Village, Fla. Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Leamon Mefford officiating. Burial will be in Long Cemetery in Belton. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
