CENTRAL CITY – Billy Ray Bullock, 86, of Central City, died Thursday, December 7, 2017, at 12:20AM at Concordia Nursing and Rehab in Greenville. Mr. Bullock was born September 17, 1931, in Muhlenberg County. He was a cook at CSX Railroad Bridge Dept., and a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. His hobbies included farming, hunting, fishing, and all outdoor activities. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Irene Bullock; great-grandson Samuel Darr; and brother Clark (Jewell) Bullock. He is survived by his wife, Evedna Smith Bullock; daughter Lynette (Gilbert) Darr of Central City; sons Troy (Darline) Bullock and Mark (Carolyn) Bullock, both of Moorman; grandchildren Todd (Cindy) Darr, Tiffany (Brandon) Casebier, Justin (Kaylan) Bullock, Jack Bullock, and Katie Bullock; great-grandchildren Riley, Garrett, Lilly, Keagan, Haven, and Hazel; brothers Eddie (Lois) Bullock, Gearld (Rhonda) Bullock, and Hollis (Elizabeth) Bullock; and sisters Rachel (Carl) Rhoades, Sue (Freddie) Geary, Luticia (Kevin) Koper, and Mary Arnold. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 9, 2017, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Donnie Wilkins officiating, assisted by Bro. Gary Taylor. Burial in New Hope Cemetery.
