DRAKESBORO – Beverly Sue Mayes, 63, of Drakesboro died Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mrs. Mayes was born on May 9, 1962 in Muhlenberg County. She was a School Bus Monitor for the Muhlenberg County School System and a member of Union Ridge Community Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working for the Lord, going to the beach, and shopping and thrifting with her daughters and grand-daughters. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Richardson; mother, Lorene Richardson; and nephew, Brent Roberson.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Mayes; daughters, Jennifer (Derrick) Cobb and Katie (Josh) Manuel; grandchildren, Maddy Cobb, Rae Cobb, and Lainey Manuel; one brother; and one sister.
