CENTRAL CITY – Beverly Sue Penrod, 73, of Central City, died Sunday, September 16, 2018, at 11:16PM at her home. Mrs. Penrod was born November 26, 1944, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and attended Martwick Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Freddie Penrod; son Aaron Penrod; daughter Alita Morris; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers Jimmy Davis and Gary Davis; and sister Patty Cornette. Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at 10:00AM at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central City, with Rev. Matt McIntosh officiating. Burial to follow. I would like to say I love my sister very much. She will be missed dearly. I wish I could have spent more time with her before she went to be with our Daddy.
I really believe she was there with me and got me through my surgery on the 23 day of Oct. Thank you so very much for helping me to be able to walk once again without pain.

Dear Freddie, Aaron & Alita, I'm so very sorry to hear about Sue. She was a very special lady. I enjoyed doing things with her at the elementary school when Aaron & Rob were little. Plus, I loved our Tuesday painting class at Ruth Rhoades's house. We might not have been great painters but we certainly had great tun. You all will be in our prayers, Molly, Bill & Rob Smith.

So sorry to hear this. God be with you all.

We have known the Penrod family only a few short years and consider them extended family. We have shared some wonderful memories, a few Holidays and the wedding of Aaron and Devri. Beverly has a wonderful family who loved her and will miss her.
We will have Beverly and her family in our thoughts and prayers today.

I sent condolences yesterday, but it wasn't included. I want to say you are all in my prayers, I will miss her greatly. I didn't see her much, but I loved her. May God be with you all.

I was so sad to hear about Beverly's passing. I loved her dearly. I always enjoyed coming down and visiting and her coming to Ohio as well. ALL of we 7 brothers and sisters here in Ohio loved Beverly. I can remember coming to buy painted saw blades off her and bring her saw's to paint.
I will miss her and I know she is in heaven now.

I enjoyed coming to see you and buying painted saw blades from you and your art teacher. This sister will miss you terribly. I'll miss our phone calls to each other.

I always though a lot of Beverly she was like my second mother always enjoyed spending time with her swinging on the front porch taking.
