OWENSBORO – Betty Sue Jones, 78, of Owensboro, died Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 11:12AM under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Mrs. Jones was born September 19, 1945, in Muhlenberg County. She was a supervisor at Flynn Enterprise and of the Christian faith. She loved spending time with her friends. She enjoyed cooking, and you never left her house hungry. She was such a loving lady and was a caregiver to many around her. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Jones; parents, Claude and Josephine Nannie; six brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by her son, Yancy Doss; nephew, Richard Avery; and niece, Donna (Tommy) Fulkerson.
Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 10:00AM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City, with burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
