GREENVILLE – Betty Jo Groves, 81, of Greenville, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at 8:20PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Groves was born November 24, 1934, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and attended Freedom Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Groves Jr.; and parents, Dave and Lexie Faulk. She is survived by her children, David (Pam) Groves, Anthony Groves, Dale Groves, Tim (Thea) Groves, Pamela Underwood, and Amy (Uriah Kilgore) Groves; brother Carlos Faulk; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 11:00AM at Freedom Baptist Church, with Bro. Tony Blake officiating, assisted by Bro. Terry Groves. Burial in Freedom Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Mrs. Groves will lie in state on Saturday after 9:00AM at the church.
