GREENVILLE- Betty Elizabeth Hatcher, 79, a resident of Greenville, KY was called home on Friday, January 12, 2024. She was born on February 26, 1944 in Beechmont, KY, to her parents, Robie Harper Sr. and Velma Bivins. Mrs. Hatcher was of the presbyterian faith. She was completely devoted to her husband and family, she loved her children and playing board games. Mrs. Hatcher is preceded in death by both of her parents; siblings, Elsie Marie (John) McCanley, Ima “Jewel” (Willie Ray) Mallory, Charles (Jean) Harper, Robie Harper Jr., Jim (Carolyn) Harper, and David Earl Harper.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Lee Roy Hatcher; sons, Todd (Cinda) Hatcher, Jason (Jennifer) Hatcher; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Glenda Harper; 26 nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville with Deacon Jeff Kirby officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

Sorry to hear about Betty’s passing, I do remember Betty as a very beautiful girl and very smart. A person that was very active and loved by all her classmates. I only remember Betty during school years lost contact with her after school as I moved out of the state after school. Again am sorry for your loss.
