POWDERLY – Beatrice Thomas, 90, of Powderly, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 3:39PM at Owensboro Medical Health System. Mrs. Thomas was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Margaret Allen; mother, Eddie Belle Sigers; father, Arlis Jones; brother, Tom Jones; sister, Lindy Dickerson; and long time friend, Eugene Cessna. Survivors include her sons, James (Christine) Thomas of McHenry and Rudy (Joann) Thomas of Cromwell; a daughter, Anna Newman of Dixon; grandchildren James and Debbie Thomas, Jr., William Earl Thomas, Eddie Thomas, Paul and Leslie Thomas, Mary Lee and Eddie Brake, Tex Ray and Tammy Allen, Oscar Junior and Teresa Allen, Tina and Tom Scofield, Daron Pullam, Kenneth and Lori Thomas, Michelle and Steve Shocklee, and Cindy Hutchinson; 18 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sally Stanley of Powderly. Funeral services will be Monday, December 27, 2010 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Donald Duncan officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
