GREENVILLE – Batsel Winslow Stovall, 82, of Greenville, died Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 2:45AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mr. Stovall was born November 17, 1942 in Muhlenberg County. He worked for the Administrative Office of the Courts of KY, was a Coal Miner, Missionary, and Baptist Preacher. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his father, Batsel Stovall; mother, Nell Louise Vincent Stovall; and grandson, Mark Winslow Blake.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Bernice Stovall; three daughters, Stacey (Tom) Beaven of Murfreesboro, TN, Tracy (Scotty) Tournear of Hickman, TN, and Jannice (Joe) Brown of Lucama, NC; two sons, Jeremy (Candy) Blake of Hanson, KY, and Devon (Elva) Garner of Dudley, NC; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Joe Chambers officiating. Burial in New Cypress Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 10AM-1PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
