Was this the same Barry who got married in a small church in Kirkcudbright, Scotland in sight of a local attraction known as McLellan's Castle. I was his ring bearer and used to allow him to use the internet in a shop I then owned. He had family roots and connections to that castle and was married in Greyfriars Church standing over a crypt in which his ancestors lay. I think his wife was from North Carolina. he stayed in my house for a few nights and ended up renting a lfat in St Mary Street as he liked Scotland and initially decided to stay and pursue music there. What led to his premature death? he also mastered some Ronnie Milsap LP's in Nashville for me onto CD's and brought me some Ronnie Milsap LP's plus some DVD's of George Jones. David W Aitken

When dad called me and told of Barry's passing, I was hit pretty hard. Barry meant a lot to me. He was an inspiration and one of the main reasons I have such a strong love of music. I remember night he would come over to the house and play his guitar and sing. I still have a CD of his I listen to often. Just like everyone, I wish I had more time to spend with him. Rosemary, I just want you to know how much Barry meant to me and how much he and his music inspired and brought comfort to me. He will be truly missed. God's speed, Barry.
