Barbara was a faithful member of Church Street General Baptist Church and was employed at the Muhlenberg County Opportunity Center. Barbara dearly loved her church family and found great comfort and joy in her faith. She had the biggest heart and a sparkle that could light up any room. Everyone who knew Barbara loved her dearly. She found joy in life’s simple beauties — chasing sunsets, taking photographs, walking on the beach, admiring pretty flowers-especially blue roses, loving animals, and spending time in nature. Her warmth, kindness, and love for others left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know her.
Above all else, Barbara loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in this world. They were her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur Lee and Dorothy Helen Stringer; her mother, Linda Pierce; and her beloved grandson, Chase Oglesby.
Barbara leaves behind a family who adored her: her father, Robert Wayne Pierce Sr. (Ruby); her brother, Robert Wayne Pierce Jr. (Jaunna); her beloved children, Heather (Jeff) Money, Andrew (Charity) Oglesby, and Stephanie (Zach) Oglesby; her precious grandchildren, Kaylor and Kian Money, and Holland Negulis, who meant the world to her; and her sisters, Jennifer (Mark) Davis, and Corinna (Josh) Davis. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will forever cherish her memory.
