Barbara Kennerly Hardaway

ST. PETERSBURG – Barbara Kennerly Hardaway, 82, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday, January 20, 2019, at 11:38AM at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg. Mrs. Hardaway was born June 4, 1936, in Greensboro, NC. She was a homemaker. She loved traveling, country music, Christmas, UVA, Tampa Bay Rays, and Disney. Her most favorite activity was spending time with family and friends and being in her home looking at the water surrounded by all her favorite things. Barbara will be remembered as a sweet, gentle, kind person who was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vivian Grace Hardaway; and her parents, Glenn and Vivian Kennerly. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Bill Hardaway; daughter Susan Hardaway (Mark) Proctor; granddaughters Samantha Proctor, Stephanie Proctor, and Sarah Proctor; brothers Bob (Sue) Kennerly and Ben (Ginny) Kennerly; brother-in-law Bob (Nancy) Hardaway; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019, from 1-4PM in the Ballroom at the Point Brittany Clubhouse in St. Petersburg.
