MAYFIELD – Barbara Anete Ashworth Moore, 71, of Mayfield died Thursday December 7, 2023 at 11:45AM at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield. She was born March 14, 1952 in Jefferson County, Alabama. She was a Registered Nurse for Heritage Nursing Home. She loved a good sale, especially yard sales. She enjoyed Christmas lights, reading and eating out at various restaurants. She was very compassionate towards her patients, and she loved animals. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Kay Ashworth Wilkins, and Gloria Day; and parents, Wilson, and Mary Jane Ashworth.

She is survived by her son, Jack (Cynthia) Campbell of Mayfield; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Monday, December 11, 2023 at 1PM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City with Bro. Kevin Reed officiating. Burial to follow. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com. Tucker Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
