SACRAMENTO – Arthur Lee McLaughlin, 78, of Sacramento died Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 9:42PM at his residence in Sacramento. Mr. McLaughlin was born November 15, 1945 in Rumsey, KY. He retired from Goodyear as a Production Manager and was a member of Pack Baptist Church in Rumsey. He was very passionate about muzzle loading and was active in 4H. He was on the Board of Directors for the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, and was a member of SAR (Sons of American Revolution), Sacramento Lions Club, and Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was also a coin collector and a member of the Nut Growers Club. He published several books on genealogy, and was a teacher and coach in Muhlenberg County. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carlotta Barnett; and parents, Arthur Gordon McLaughlin and Ella Lee McLaughlin.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon McLaughlin; son, Jeremy McLaughlin; grandchildren, Corbin, Collin, and Allison; and sisters, Dorothy Pinkston, and Shelia Dailey.

Funeral services will be Friday April 19, 2024 at 11AM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento with Bro. Kevin Brantley officiating. Burial in Calhoun Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
