CENTRAL CITY – Anna Frances Stanley, 85, of Central City, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Maple Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Stanley was born January 31, 1927 in Central City. She was the ninth of twelve children born to Jadie and Ada Turley. She was a housewife and was married to the late E.C. Stanley. She was a member of New Testament Christian Church in Central City. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Leona Dukes, Mary Lois Sommers, Louise Turley, Virginia Turner, Lucille Jameson, and Vivian McDonald, and her brothers, Buddy Turley, L.J. Turley, Louis Turley, and Marion Choyce “Bubby” Turley. Survivors include her sister, Rebecca Peterson of Moline, IL; and fifteen nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Steve Sisco officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
