What a sweet and special person Jane was. She imparted her fine character to all the family members, for which they will no doubt be ever grateful. Now in home sweet home and so well deserved. Love to this good family, Sue Paul

Dear Anna Rhea, Margaret & Betsy,
This week has brought so much emotion that my heart overflows. At times I stand silent, because there just seem to be no words. At other times, the tears flow, along with so many memories, and there are so many things I want to say. I am so very sorry that we can't be there with you, but my heart is there. I pray that God's love surrounds you and gives each of you and your families peace and strength that only He can give. She was strong and that is what she wants for you. I know this has been a very hard year, but you have each been there for each other and for her in exactly the way that she taught you, by her own example. I am so proud of you, as she was. Her family was the light of her life.God never made a kinder, sweeter, gentler person, with so much love to give. You were so blessed that she was your Mother; we were all blessed that there was love enough for everyone. When your Mom & Dad came to Texas, they became dear friends to my parents. Over the years, it grew into more than just a friendship, it became the love of a family. I am so thankful for those 64 years, for all the precious memories. Jane was always there, a loving part of our family. As a child, she was to me like a dear Aunt. As I grew into teen years and young adulthood, she became more of a comforting and non-judgmental Mother figure. She listened and offered loving understanding. She remained my other Mother for many years. She & Mother were so close and so often together, it was like having two Mothers. How lucky I was to have that. We grew even closer after Mother passed away 13 years ago. There were some visits (not nearly enough) and many long phone calls: She never, ever missed my birthday. She had a gift for making everyone feel special. God has taken home one of His Angels, and we are so much richer for having had her in our lives. Heaven has become much dearer, & I smile as I picture Jane & Ray, Geraldine & Wade all together again. Love, Wadine & Tim

There are not enough words nor space to say all that is in my heart about this wonderful woman and her wonderful daughters, and I comsidered such un important part of my life for many years. Margaret and Betsy, you both know how much I loved her from childhood until now and how I celebrate her life and legacy left with each of you and others she touched. Things always in my heart is the hall closet she kept her Avon in and my endless supply of Occur perfume I could count on at Christmas...times I stayed over or ate with supper always at five...here delicate loving hands I could recognize anywhere. Margaret, you have her hands. :) ....Her getting us lemons while in the tree in your front yard...the times we were told we had to take Betsy with us (prescool years Betsy )....Birthday cakes, her caring as a wonderful devoted wife and mother and endless years of so much more. Her life was her family and those of us that had the priviledge to be a part of that personally were so blessed. I know I was. She gave her all to each of you all. I loved her dearly and she raised a family unit that is truely just that. She is looking down with pride and with smiles as she watches those she left behind waiting for the day that as a Christian will join her in our forever home. She is happy, young and with Jesus and all her loved ones that are there with her. She was the epitome of what a woman should be. May her love abide in each of you 3 girls and grand and great grandchildren as a memory of happy thoughts to over shadow any sadness when it trys to touch you. I loved her and I love you all. My thoughts and prayers are with you daily. I am always here if you need me! Celebrate her life. It was an honor to have shared in.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Anna Rhea, Margaret and Mary Beth:

My heart goes out to you. Your Mother was a wonderful person. She never failed to give me a great big hug when I saw her and she aways asked me about Mom. We will all miss her.

My prayers and thoughts are with all three of you as you lay your mother to rest.

Mrs. Rhule was one of the sweetest people I ever knew. She and Ray were friends of my parents and their daughters were my playmates. I don't ever remember he fussing at me no matter how much I probably deserved it. (Hope you have forgiven me, Mary Beth.) Several years later, I ran into her at Dillard's in the mall in Corpus where she was working. It was wonderful to see her and get one of her warm hugs. Anna Rhea, Margaret, and Mary Beth - ya'll were so lucky to have had such a kind and loving mother. I only have happy memories of Mrs. Rhule.
