POWDERLY- Anna Jean Powell, 86, of Powderly passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson. Ms. Powell was born in Muhlenberg County on September 8, 1935 to the late Arthur and Jody Amos. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Powell; son, Steven Powell; step-sons, Bobby and Gary Powell; sisters, Ruth Helen and Francis Littlefied. Ms. Powell loved her Lord. She also loved her family that she shared an extra close bond with, her grandson Eric (Krystal), granddaughter, Kaylianne, and a great grandson Kaden. She was a faithful member of the Powderly Baptist Church for the last 43 years, and a retired customer service clerk at Sears in Central City. She also loved her church family. Ms. Powell enjoyed helping her family and friends in any way she could.

Survivors include her son, Kenny (Bree) Powell; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; special life long friends, Ruth and Dee Hughs, Joyce Dukes, Barbara Thompson; Barbara Powell and Fern Maddox.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Josh Kalso officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.
