Ann and Jim were neighbors of ours in Hickory Woods since the day we moved here. We have several memories of Ann but hosting the neighborhood Easter egg hunt was one of our favorites. She gladly volunteered her beautiful yard for an egg hunt for our entire neighborhood every year. We moved to Hickory Woods in 1990 and all the years my two boys were growing up we attended. All the neighborhood kids enjoyed it so much and became a traditional event every year for our family at Easter. She was an unbelievably gracious lady and her kindness unending. Much later, just before she moved to Florida I was taking my daily walk and was passing Ann’s home. She was outside doing a little gardening and she invited me to walk around her yard with her. We both share a love for gardening and she was happy to show me some of her favorites in her yard. Even though I could tell she wasn’t quite herself, she was still the very gracious and kind lady that Ann had always been. I know she’s up in heaven tending that garden too.? I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. We’re sending prayers for peace and comfort to all of you. Sincerely, Kathy and George Frederick

My condolences to all the family and friends for the loss of Mrs. Durall. She was a second mother to all of us kids on the hill on Ewing Road in Powell Tennessee. We always gathered at their house, often camping out in sleeping bags in the backyard, so she had her hands full. It was always a safe place to be, lots of fun, and we felt we could go to her for anything we needed. I always said they had the funnest house because they had five kids. I guess that inspired me because we have five kids as well. My mother, Betty Johnson, told me last night on the phone that she and Ann had some of the best times ever. I visited her just a few years ago here in Jupiter and she was beautiful and smiling as always. God Bless, Chris Johnson
