Ann McRoy CENTRAL CITY — Ann McRoy, 73, late daughter of Billy and Louise Scott, died at 8 a.m. Sunday, July 19, 2009, at her home in Central City. She was born May 24, 1936, in Muhlenberg County, was a member of First Baptist Church and was a beautician and election official. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl McRoy; and her parents, Billy and Louise Scott. Survivors include two daughters, Trish McRoy of Central City and Martha McRoy of Fort Myers, Fla.; a granddaughter, Jamie (Clay) Dobbs of Bowling Green; a great-granddaughter, Addie Mae Dobbs of Bowling Green; two brothers, Leslie (June) Scott and Lloyd (Debbie) Scott, all of Greenville; two nephews, William Scott of Greenville and Robbie Scott of Elizabethtown; and two nieces, Maclynn Scott of Louisville and Stephaine Gravell of Elizabethtown. Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tucker Funeral Home, Central City, with Mr. Pat Franklin officiating. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Depoy. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
