She is survived by her husband, Lucas Rice; her children, Malachi Boyd, Desmond Boyd, and Nova DeArmond; her grandchildren, Navy Celestine Mohon, and Maggie Elizabeth Mohon; her sister, Kim (Kyle) Moore; her parents, Willard and Debbie DeArmond; and her aunt, Linda Rivera.

Memorial services will be Monday, October 12, 2026, at 12:00p.m. at Duvall’s Chapel General Baptist Church in Greenville, with Bro. Gary Embry and Bro. Michael Putnam officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Monday after 10:00a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to the Amber Celestine Rice Memorial Fund at Tucker Funeral Home. I do not know this woman, but I heard her cry, and found she is being acknowlesged on social media and now I am here sending my condolences to her family and friends. I pray that God covers them with comfort and strength during this time.

Amber was a great person and to me and mine she was family. Her and my cousin lived above me years ago and we became friends. She's loved and will forever be missed. I send my love and condolences to her family and especially her babies.
