GREENVILLE – Alma Louise Sorrles, 79, of Greenville, died Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at 11:25AM at her home. Mrs. Sorrles was born April 11, 1939, in Grayson County. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She loved playing Yahtzee, Uno, and other board games. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenard O’Neal Sorrles; mother Anna Lee McGrew; father Willie Lee Young; brother Jackie Young; and granddaughter Lilly Jean Embry. She is survived by her son, Clifford Ray Sorrles of Auburn; daughters Belinda (David) Nickle of Rosewood, Sherry L’Heureux of Franklin, Francis (Thomas) Smith of Cleaton, Freda (Jimmy) Johnson of Drakesboro, and Maxine (James) Jackson of Bowling Green; grandchildren Phillip, Amanda, Buster, Johny, Beth, Paula, Kevin, Katerina, Keith, Shane, Shavanna, Jerry, Wendy, Victoria, and Jessie; fur babies BJ and Goober; 28 great-grandchildren; sisters Anna Bartlett and Norma Willoughby; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, February 11, 2019, at 11:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Floyd Steele officiating, assisted by Rev. Leamon Mefford.
