SACRAMENTO – Allen J. Gish, age 73, of Sacramento, died Friday, February 16, 2024, at his residence.  Allen was born September 17, 1950, in Greenville, KY and was a retired maintenance worker at Kentucky Utility Company and a member of Sassafras Grove Church.  He enjoyed spending time at flea markets on weekends and especially time spent with his grandchildren and his wife Judy of 54 years.  His first love was motorcycles and shared one of his first rides with his wife, Judy when she was eleven years old. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Amos and Mary Ella Gish, brothers, Freddie Gish, Keith Gish and Timmy Gish.

He is survived by his wife Judy; son, Darain (Sara) Gish of Sacramento and daughter, Julie Davis of Central City; grandchildren, Mackenzie Gish, Jaiden and Clinton Davis, Tyson O’Bannon, Alexis Smith; great-granddaughter, Charlie Smith; brother, Ricky Joe (Rita) Gish and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento with Bro. Jackie Dale Townsend and Bro. J.W. Haire officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Bremen.  Visitation will be Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
