CENTRAL CITY – Albert Euell Jackson, 89, of Central City, died Thursday, August 24, 2017, at 4:09PM at Diversicare of Greenville. Mr. Jackson was born October 26, 1927, in Muhlenberg County. He was a crane operator at LTV Steel Mill, and attended South Carrollton Missionary Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Loshia Jackson; wife Mildred Jackson; sister Virginia Doss; brother Jerry V. Jackson; grandson Tommy Hyatt; and great-grandson Jackson Williams. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah (James) Johnson; sons Jerry (Vicki) Jackson, Tommie Jackson, and Dale (Tina) Jackson; step-daughter Charlene (Delmar) Hyatt; step-sons Charles (Olivia) Swyers and Michael Swyers; brothers Donald Jackson and Harold Wallace Jackson; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, August 28, 2017, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Greg Brooks officiating, assisted by Bro. Charlie Sartin. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
