CENTRAL CITY – Agnes Monaghan Drea, 82, of Central City, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 7:20PM at her home. Mrs. Drea was born June 27, 1930 in Central City. She was a homemaker and lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was the daughter of John and Minnie Coffey Monaghan. She married James Drea in 1984. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother Edward Monaghan, and sisters Rose Mary Mills and Kathleen LaBuda. Survivors include her brothers, Don (Marlene) Monaghan of Central City and Anthony (Betty) Monaghan of Bremen; sisters Ann Boarman of Boonville, IN, Sister Mary Renee OSU and Sister Michael Ann OSU, both of Mt. St. Joseph, and Sister June Monaghan SCN of Nazareth, KY; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Central City. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:30-8:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Prayers will be said at 6:00PM on Monday.
