BEECHMONT – Adelia Kay Woodson, 71, of Beechmont, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 17, 2017, at 10:03AM, at her home surrounded by her boys, Bruce and Rod. Mrs. Woodson was born September 26, 1945, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Bennett Woodson; and parents Jack & Jamie Renwick. She is survived by her special companion, Bruce McDonald of Drakesboro; sons Jon and Stephanie Woodson of Greenville, Scott and Shawn Woodson of Beechmont, and Les Woodson of Beechmont; sisters Dorothy and Bill Carver of Greenville and Nora (the late Sonny) Stewart of Greenville; grandchildren Ben and Chelsea Woodson of Ft. Worth, TX, Megan Woodson and fiance’ Spencer Harper of Auburn, Jonna Woodson of Greenville, Tristen Davis of Beechmont, and Drew Davis of Beechmont; great-grandchildren Isaiah, Bella, and Noah; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 11:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Casebier officiating, assisted by Charleston Farber. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Western Kentucky or American Cancer Society.
